Preventing Child Tooth
Decay – the Easy Way!
Even the most meticulous brushing does not reach all the
areas and contours of teeth. As bacteria and plaque
build up, decay will occur. Even a small amount of decay
will need a restoration with a filling, and for larger
amounts of decay, a crown.
There is a technique that can help to reduce the
development of cavities – an application of dental
sealant. This treatment is easy and quick.
The teeth are first cleaned and sterilized. A thin
coating of the sealant is brushed on the surface of each
tooth. This is clear and invisible. A curing light is
applied to bond the sealant to the teeth. The complete
procedure takes only minutes but can help to preserve
children’s and adolescent’s natural teeth for a
lifetime. It is painless, as no shots or drilling are
necessary.

Dr. Stutler earned his dental degree from the Indiana
University School of Dentistry, after earning his
bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. He maintains
professional membership in the American Dental
Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Indiana
Dental Association, and Indianapolis District Dental
Society.
Dr. Stutler has taken numerous postgraduate education
courses, specifically selecting courses focusing on
implant dentistry. He also has specific training in
Invisalign™, cosmetic dentistry, CEREC™ one-visit
crowns, children’s dentistry, and sedation dentistry,
allowing him to incorporate these treatments into his
practice and give you the smile of your dreams in
complete comfort. His most recent training in Shatkin
F.I.R.S.T™ mini implants means he can offer
implant-retained dentures to patients who might not
otherwise have been able to have them. His commitment to
lifelong education ensures the highest level of care,
both today and tomorrow.
Dr. Stutler is an active participant in the community,
serving on the RDS board of Brownsburg and as a sponsor
to the Brownsburg Educational Foundation. He and his
wife Susie have three beautiful children, and in his
spare time, he enjoys spending time with his kids,
traveling, working out, watching movies, reading, and
golfing.
